With nearly 30 years of experience as a trial attorney, Jim knows firsthand that being a party to a court case can be unpleasant. Even when clients know that the result they desire is fair and the outcome is just, rarely do they feel comfortable being in a courtroom.

Litigation is time-consuming and often takes an emotional toll on those involved. Jim understands this. As an experienced attorney who has represented clients in hundreds of cases of all different types, he knows that the “win at all costs” approach to litigation oftentimes can be counterproductive. He defines success based on his client’s specific expectations and standards. Jim takes the time to learn each client’s strategic goals and works diligently toward achieving a broader, long-term objective rather than a hasty end.

Clients want and deserve an attorney who is experienced, knowledgeable, and who will represent them in an aggressive, intelligent, and cost-effective manner. Jim is committed to providing that service and, at the same time, taking the time to actually listen to what his clients have to say – something that many lawyers forget to do.

His personal interest in his clients, not just their cases, is what makes him the attorney to call when you need help.

Jim holds an AV® Preeminent™ rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest rating a lawyer can receive for legal ability and ethical standards.
